Description

What are synthesizers? How do they work? What can synths sound like? Through discussion, skill-sharing, and experimentation with equipment from the Feminist Synth Library, you will learn what synthesizers are, how they can make sounds, and how to use those sounds in your own music-making.

Additional Information: Feminist Synth Lab is a music equipment lending library and workshop series for all marginalized genders in Los Angeles, including but not limited to trans women, cis women, trans men, non-binary, intersex, gender nonconforming, two-spirit and questioning folx. This workshop is open to everyone, but please keep in mind that we are prioritizing marginalized genders. No homophobia, transphobia, or disrespect of any kind will be tolerated.
