When working towards your mental health goals, sometimes the best way to do so is in a group setting. Consider a free group therapy option on campus at Psychological and Wellness Services. The Social Skills Group is a spring quarter group therapy option that provides a safe space to learn about and practice valuable social skills and build meaningful relationships with friends, coworkers and romantic partners, while creating connection and understanding with peers. By attending group you’ll learn to navigate everyday social interactions and practice common social scenarios.
Group participants can expect to work on expressing themselves openly, increase empathy, manage emotions, and respond to change or disappointment.
