Details | The first black woman to serve on the US Supreme Court, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson will discuss her memoir entitled Lovely One with Elizabeth Alexander, President, Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The conversation will explore her extraordinary life and her family’s rise from segregation to her confirmation on America’s highest court within the span of one generation. This event is featured in the museum’s annual Simmons Talks speaker series, which is supported through a generous endowment from Dr. Ruth J.
