| Description | The Embedded Architects Community of Practice (CoP) is restarting! This community began in 2014 but has been on pause for over a year. Many of you have expressed a desire to restart and we think it's time. This community provides opportunities to: - Share technical architecture expertise within the UW
- Develop relationships with other members of the University engaged in solving technical problems
- Better understand the business context and business drivers for technical decisions
- Work with service teams and/or other CoPs to bring relevant architectural topics to Information & Technology Governance
- Create small action teams that can solve limited scale problems or recommend work
As an example, past topics have included: - Reference architectures, e.g.,
- Low-code platforms (Service Now, Workday, MS Power Platform, Salesforce/Mulesoft)
- Cloud interconnect
- API/Integration approaches
- Security monitoring / controls
- DevOps tools and practices
