The UW Farm invites you to dine with us on September 19 at the Center for Urban Horticulture to show your support for the UW Farm and celebrate the farm’s contribution to our community! Extend your experience and contribution with our special pre-event farm tour from 4pm-5pm! The Dinner Experience: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Featuring a fall harvest three-course, family-style dinner prepared by Chef Jason Vickers showcasing our own UW Farm produce and local farms. Show extra support and come early for an optional personalized tour of the farm. Our theme this year? Apples – as we raise funds for an heritage apple orchard! **Please note that this is a 21+ Only event. ID required at check-in** Chef Jason Vickers will prepare a seasonal menu with a traditional indigenous twist. The 3-course menu, served family style, will include a selection of the chef’s signature dishes. His goal is to connect diners to the land while celebrating all the efforts taken to get the food to the table, using freshly harvested ingredients from the UW Farm. Note: Our tables will be served family style. We encourage you to fill a table with your family and friends. Singles, couples and smaller groups are also welcome and will enjoy meeting new friends on the farm! |
