Join us as we highlight how to use a great tool available to all CoE faculty and staff in Canvas, Ally Accessibility Report! The Ally Accessibility Report checks your courses' overall accessibility health from providing scores for course elements from files to pages; providing guidance on how to remediate issues; and providing your student alternative formats to best fit their learning style. Workshop Objectives: - Recognize the importance of accessibility in our courses and at the University of Washington (UW).
- Examine the diverse student population that benefits from addressing accessibility in your courses.
- Familiarize yourself with the Ally icons and learn how to access it within your course.
- Determine what content in your course needs remediation attention.
- Familiarize yourself with the Ally Item Report and how to use the remediation guidance it provides.
