Description | Julia Yue Cui, Ph.D., DABT, is a Professor in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Washington, and Founding Director of Environmental Health and Microbiome Research Center. Her research focuses on the host epigenetics and gut microbiome's role in modulating responses to environmental exposures and its impact on toxicology, disease susceptibility, and health disparities. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology and an expert in precision environmental health, mechanistic toxicology, and microbiome-gene-environment interactions.
