Description | Trauma Responsive Triage – in collaboration with our colleagues at Cascadia College and facilitator emareena danielles Friday, October 25 - 9:30 - 1 with lunch This timely gathering offers staff and faculty across our shared campus a unique opportunity to reset our perspectives, reconnect with our community, and reconsider our approaches to campus life and our relationships. Together, we'll create a space to name our shared concerns, recognize each other's experiences, and discover the supportive networks we can weave together in the months ahead. Guided by emareena danielles – an accomplished educator, facilitator, public scholar, and veteran teacher with 25 years of experience working with adult students in both carceral and free spaces – this two-hour session will engage participants in meaningful learning, active listening, and dynamic group conversations. As we focus on strengthening cross-campus relationships, we’ll look to our own knowledge and our collective strategies for creating care structures of staff & faculty wellness. For those interested in deeper engagement, we'll extend the gathering into lunch, providing space to record reflections and discuss how to sustain these important conversations and insights throughout the quarter. |
