A spicy combination of Latin dance and fun music that will make you want to move!  No coordination required!  Come join the party! FEE REQUIRED. Free for members, $6 for non members. 

4:30 – 5:25pm Yoga (Room #2)

Yoga is for everyone.  Through regular yoga practice one can gain more strength, balance, flexibility, coordination.  Slow and controlled moves combined with breath allow for increased body awareness.  Great additional benefit: stress relief!  This class taught by a variety of our yoga instructors.

11:30am – 12:15pm Silver Sneakers Classic (Room #2)

This senior class emphasizes movement, toning, strength and flexibility.  Most exercises are completed in a chair and include breathing, stretching, balance, and posture awareness.

12 – 12:45pm Cardio / Strength (Macon Health Club - main fitness room)

Combination of cardiovascular training and muscular strength and endurance.  Appropriate for all levels.

Each week you can expect different combinations of cardio work and strength work and may include circuits, intervals, tabata, and use multiple props such as steps, bosus, ball, weights.  This class follows the 30minute Abs class at 5:30. Cheryl and Leslie share this class.

6:15 – 7pm Cardio Kickbox (Room #1)

A full attack on obesity and inactivity.  It gets you off the couch, out of your office, and into an exhilarating total body workout where a fusion of martial arts meets chart-topping music.  Be prepared to kick fat cells in the gut, knockout stress, and win the war on gaining strength, heart-lung function, and flexibility.

A way to end your work week utilizing hand weights while performing basic dance steps. You'll love it!

This class is multi level and focuses on improving the mind-body connection, strength, flexibility and balance.  Sequences of postures called asanas and breathing exercises create and challenging yet stress relieving routine that improves overall body conditioning and mental focus.  This class rotates instructors each week.
